Love love Little Footsteps preschool! Mrs. P and Mrs. Scott are amazing humans and even more amazing teachers. Both of my children have been enrolled with Little Footsteps and have learned so much. PRE-KINDERGARTEN

A Place to Shine
We have been teaching preschool for over eleven years now and we just love it. We understand that each child has unique needs and interests. We provide the environment and tools your child needs to thrive to the best of their abilities. When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave Little Footsteps Preschool & PreKindergarten, they’re fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives.
Every child has a story yet to be told. Just give them the tools and watch their story unfold.
Children love to learn and are excited about the new things around them. We want them to love learning, through activities, art and science. We help them learn the letters and their sounds, by making each letter come alive with a personality. It is not just a thing but something they can relate to and even makes a sound. They learn to rhyme, sound out simple CVC words and begin to blend letters to form words. They learn sight words and learn to read books.
We all have a different way of learning. Some are visual, some audio and some tactical. We use all of these methods when teaching, letters, sounds of letters, numbers and their value. The children will learn simple addition and subtraction up to twenty. We also learn shapes, colors and patterns.
We use positive reinforcement to encourage each one where they are in the learning process. Praise for their successes and point out the things they did right as they learn

A few fun things we do every year. We go on a field trip to the Fire Station 🚒 We have special guests such as a police officer 👮♀️ and a dentist 🦷 come to our school. We grow pumpkins 🎃 each student gets to take their own plant 🪴 home. We make learning fun so each child wants to learn more. 📚
